We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Outstanding cocktail and wine program complements the excellent food. However, what we REALLY appreciated was the amazing service. Casey had a great knowledge of the wine list and was super fun to talk with about the food too. Our courses were paced well and we never felt rushed. Thanks for the great experience and we look forward to returning soon!

My partner and I have dined at Present company many times over the past few years and each time we look forward to what new culinary experience that they have prepared. One Valentine’s Day, the menu was inspired by a movie that they played on tv’s during dinner, very unique. The chef has even taken time out of his busy evening to speak with us about his food, which we loved. This is a very small intimate environment, perfect for a date or special occasion. The food is incredible and experiential so be prepared to try something new every visit. I recommend this place to everyone I know. If you love food, it’s worth the price for the experience.
Came to celebrate my anniversary/engagement. Robin was our server, she was so delightful. The food was out of this world. My fiancé and I will most definitely be back.

Really loved this place!! Very nice atmosphere both inside and outside- plus right by the river giving the location a wonderful ambiance. This restaurant does tasting menus which end up being so much food. Did the three course meal of scallops, swordfish, and carrot cake. All was delicious and wonderful. The flavor pairings were amazing. Swordfish was cooked on perfectly. Other dishes included pork, a yellowtail dish, and pancetta. We also shared bread with delicious spread. On the pricey side but worth it!
As we wind down on 2024, we finally had a chance to check out Present Company in Simsbury. This restaurant is perfect for any special occasion or date night. They offer two menu choices: a seasonal pre-fixe or a chefs tasting that changes daily. The space is small and intimate with an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. We were blown away by the quality of food and creativity in many of the dishes. This would be the perfect place to celebrate NYE. We tried: Espresso Martinis Wagyu Beef Capaccio Pork Belly Gyoza Duck Conchiglie Romesco Risotto Bacon Wrapped Venison Halibut Sweet Potato Crème Brûlée Beetroot Cake The service was also top notch and we loved the wine selections.
